Hi all just got the service history for my altea fr and found that the first owners were Bickets seat . when surching this site i was able to find a picture of my car when they had it for sale . Did these guys do all modifications to new cars as i would like to find out a bit about our car

Just by chance I spotted this fella.
My dad bought the car as new from bickets and did all the modifications to the car (through a bodyshop), think that one had leather interior too? Although he did no more than about 300 miles in it before selling it through bickets in kilmarnock (he changes cars alot)

There were up till a year or so ago a few good guys working in Bickets. At the time there was a sales manager called Mike and a couple of salesman called Colin and George. They made Bickets a good place to buy a car and did all sorts of modifications to cars. They were genuine and great to deal with. The three of them have now moved on. Bickets were bought out by a larger faceless company and are now soul less. Don't be concerned about the car though.

I'm fine. Still driving my cupra which I still really enjoy however I may look elsewhere when it comes to change whenever that may be.
I gather things didn't work out at Parks. My brother has had such trouble with them with regard to his Discovery. What an awful garage. The staff from the top to the bottom are unhelpful and clueless.
I hope you and the family are well. I remember you saying to me something about ornaments not lasting a long time in your house. Well, my wee one is now destroying the place!!

I have bought my two Leon FR's from Bickets when they were Bickets. However they are now called VERVE but still hold the name Bickets. I dealt with George, who was fantastic, but sadly now left the company. I was in the other day to price someparts and was talking to a girl on the service desk who said it was not as good as prior to the takeover.
It used to be a guy called John Walker who was responsible for some of the bodykits and styling done there, he customised the cars and sold them there. I got in touch with him through George and he did my stainless steel rear silencer on ma Leon FR.
Good garage, but not as good as it was!!!!sadly

I can agree with that, its not as good as it used to be since George, Mike and Colin left.
