Best Way Place To Start Tuning!!!!!

I have a Leon 1.8SE and Iv saved up a bit of cash and want to spend it tuning up my car iv been told that a Remap is the best place to start just wondering if you guys on here had any more or better ideas on what i should do.

remap on non turbo engine imo isnt worth the cash for 10 extra horses...

id start spending your cash on handling mods to make best use of the power you have mate.

essentially is the 1.8se the same block as the 1.8t? if it is, bolt on turbo from a crashed cupra or similar?

yeh as far as i know it is exactly the same block but i was sort of thinking cheaper mods as i imagine that would be astronomically expensive im thinking less than £1000

freer flowing exhaust, uprated panel filter and better airfeed would make small improvements

no real power gains to be had for small money on normally aspirated engines.

id d the handling thing, make the car faster round the twisties, uprate the brakes so you can brake later into them...

Only engine options really are breathing mods (intake, exhaust) as said above, but don't expect much more than +10bhp...

try a ram air induction kit like viper that should improve the lower part of the revs and improve the exaust like lordgibbness said .
