Basicly ive tried gettin a real nice deep black shine on my ibiza, gave it a good clayin an polish then wax but polishing it made it get ultra dusty quick! I then washed it a few weeks later andafter just gave it a wax and its been sound (no annoying dust gathering) but hasnt got the polish shine, although the polish didnt do a great dealof shining shine i wanted.

So anyone got any advice or products i could try.

At the moment i use chemical guys glossworkz shampoo and chemical guys xxx wax. The beading btw is quality for weeks using this wax imo.

Also on the off chance does anyone no the engine code for ibiza fr mk4 54 plate?

cheers guys!

Wax is like a magnet for dust for some reason, I have started to use synthetic polishes on my Mrs Car because it was getting covered also when washing a dusty car pre rinse it to death with a spray from your hose.

I use Blacklight a lot with V7 Awesome shine and very easy to use. heres a, you tube link to see.

My car is machined polished etc but if your paint is sound this is what I would do Polish with Auto Glym super resin Polish(New Formula) which may in itself amaze you in its fininsh, and Then if you want the extra Bling go down the Blacklight and V7 route. The AG Polish will have given your paint a reasonable clean and will remove/fill light marring by hand and be an awesome start for the other products. But like I have mentioned the AG is pretty good on it own.

Cool man thanks for that, i just bought yesterday poorboys ex-p sealant and poorboys black hole show glaze after reading many reviews and these seem to come up quite a bit with people saying there good especially on black so going to test these out first when they arrive and when the weather brightens up but if there no good i will go down the route you suggested, that video is decent too.

nice car btw in your pic

Sounds good, the blackhole wlll help set up yor paint and the ex p will bling it up. Only thing I would add if your paint is clean this will work well if not might be worth cleansing the paint and claying, lime prime or similar.
Best of luck and post a pic
