Best price for a TFSI FR

I'm thinking of getting a new TFSi FR at towards the end of the year and as I will have to part ex mine (a 54plate Cupra) I was just wondering what deals have people had from dealers?

Have you been able to get anywhere near what drive the deal have quoted or are the dealers less likely to do a deal?

These guys www.directseat.co.uk seem pretty cheap. They are actually Patterson SEAT in Newcastle and will match the website price if you go to the showroom.

As for main dealers, when I was looking for a TFSI Sport last year (before the FR was announced) they just quoted list price and when I was looking in Dec for the FR, when I told them I could get a discount (Drive the Deal) he got shirty and said that Seat would not be happy as they has been told that discounts were not allowed.

so in the end I priced with;

The Deal Negotiator (part of Sidlow cars, Seat, VW, Saab dealers near to Gatwick airport)
Drive The Deal
Broadspeed
Direct Seat

I am still waiting for a responce from Direct Seat, but the others were within £3-500 of each other, with The Deal Negotiator the cheapest (they had to requote as they added the cost of the metallic on twice)

I am a happy man
