Did a track day in my Ibiza yesterday and now both my brake discs and pads are well and truely shagged!! [B)]

Im looking into upgrading them this time around, and wanted to know where is the best place that you can get EBC or Tarox brakes from?? Have looked in the FAQ's MK4 brake upgrade thread but it appears to just talk about the 312mm tt conversion..which having a cupra i already have!

If anyone can point me in the right direction, it will be appreciated

Thanks

Its £120 for a pair mate..

But your right, it is just as cheap to get uprated ones though. I will be :D

Out of interest, how did it handle on the track? I would love to get mine on a track.

Were your discs and pads quite old before you did the track day? I'm surprised they were shagged afterwards! Were they just standard OEM ones?

256mm x 18mm vented on the rear of the first set and the Ibiza takes 200 "something" mm x 9mm solid ones. Can't remember from memory and I'm too lazy to check in the garage right now. :)

damo - car handled really well on the track, was wet for most of the day so couldnt give it full beans!! managed to keep up (and overtake) a evo 9 fq320!! he killed me down the straight but thru the corners he was useless!!

kriso - the brake pads where low before the track day, but i knew they would need replacing afterwards. it is the 3rd track day i have done on these discs and i knew i had to repalce them aswell when i change the brake pads
