The furthest forward is the hardest, so the one just at the end of the bar is the softest.

I've set mine to the middle one.

As can be seen here, in phil's picture, his is on the hardest setting.

No problemo.

I find that the middle setting is fine for me, plus it gives me the option to harden / soften it as I choose, but I've found that for me the middle is fine.

Good luck with the fitting.

Old thread...

What is a 28mm rear ARB (on softest setting) going to be like on a mk3 cupra with standard front ARB?

Yeah Bill I bought some 15mm ones from you last month. I fitted KW coilovers, 15mm rear spacers, front lower strut brace and front/rear (25/28mm) Neuspeed ARBs with new wishbone bushes (OE front, VT rear) and 4 new tyres all at the same time a couple of weeks ago so I can't put it down to one component but the back end seems much more "alive" now.

I haven't pushed it to see where the limits are yet so just taking it steady(ish) for now - as I say - just a different driving style is required to handle it properly as the feel of the car has completely changed. I'm wondering how much difference I would notice if I uprated my rear beam bushes to the VT ones as that's about the only thing I haven't touched?

Thanks for replies.

I do run 20mm rear spacers on mine with original suspension (may up-rate but cannot go too low).
I cannot afford both ARBs just now but may get front eventually - so thought I would get 28mm rear for now. Just concerned it may make it too lively at back end.
