Car is looking good. Just one query though. How come that cover at the front of the engine bay looks like it has a bit cut out of it??

They are all like that mate on the TSI , its the intake for the air box , in the pic above I left the pipe in because I couldn't wait for a picture haha , but obviously you would remove it if you were fitting an induction kit

Oh and the handbrake cover is in the Seat accesories, its very very expensive though , 80 quid if I remember correctly

Just looked a bit odd as on the TDI there's no cut-out (although the cover is removeable).

Handbrake cover is a bit pricey. Looks cool though.

Had a really good day out at Inters and it was good to speak to a few members on here !
Shame I never managed to make it to the strip due to the accident, but I hope they were okay.

Whats the mm drop on the springs you have in? I want to get the same set for my own its a perfect drop.

I think they are 35mm mate, it is sitting ever so slightly high in those above pics due to the ground being very very soft so it has sank a little. I agree that the drop is great though

Not updated for a while. A few exciting mods ( for me anyway) are coming up...

-The gorgeous cupra R LED rear lights
-Some black vinyl strips down the side ( Marmite I know, but it's worth a go as they are only a tenner!)
-Some cool aluminium DSG extension flaps
- Some carbon fibre vinyl for the sill protectors as the passenger one is starting to get scruffy with scratches thanks to my girlfriends high heels
Plus a major detail coming up as it is a mess after the Silverstone grand prix!

Possibilities:
- Stage 2 tune
- My mates selling some 19" Golf R interlagos wheels in gloss black, so I may have them if he offers a decent price.

Looking at Audi RS4's though so I think the spending needs to stop!

Will upload the pics when everything is sorted, depending on whether people want to see!

Update:
Confirmed changing to APR software, so my bluefin handset will be going on ebay soon

Don't get me wrong I have loved the bluefin but I have been given a great offer to swap and for me I think APR is the next step up to maximise performance as I aim to go to stage 2. Will miss the bluefin's ability to swap maps in a matter of seconds though!

The DSG extension Would be on the paddles on the wheel, just longer paddles like a proper sports car has.

Those are very similar but these are the ones I have ordered.
I wasn't paying the price of the ECS ones though! Good quality replicas from china do the trick ( Seen them on a friends golf gti and they look the business with the writing etc )

So here are some crap pics ( iPad) of the bits I have managed to get fitted. Still lots to come so keep looking

Vinyled the sill plates as the passanger side one was starting to get a bit scuffed from my GF's highheels! Very pleased with the outcome and I also added a little FR decal to finish them off. Pretty chuffed and I think they look better than the brushed aluminium look.

Fitted the vinyl stripes on, I think they look awesome, and deffinatly look better than in the pics. Adds some individualism and for £15 why not!

You will also notice I have fitted the 2012 LED rear lights What a fantastic mod these were, very easy to change over and they improve the look of the car 100 times over! Thanks Jmerrie

Still lots to come to be fitted over this week hopefully so I will update again if people want to see them?

Booked in on the 27th for APR stage 2 at awsome gti, can't wait!

After that I have plans for Cupra 345mm brakes and stage 3 K04 upgrade.
