Hi all

Just a quick one - got home from work tonight and my gf was in the garage - she saw a bit of muck that she thought was bird poo and leant on the car to see (she knows how much I hate bird poo). As she lent the bonnet really pushed down and I thought she had dented it - when i got out with tears nearly running down my face i looked and it was back as normal.

Has anyone else noticed that their bonnet is flimsy and the slightest touch makes the bonnet flex? I had a golf before and it was as hard as anything!

Yup and seems particularly bad in the middle between the supports underneath - you should try machine polishing it, it bounces like hell

its got something to do with not hurting pesky pedestrians when they stand in the road waiting to be hit by a car
they just bounce off and scrape themselves on the tarmac instead

I see - cheers for that peeps. I was a little concerned maybe it had been replaced, but if you find this as well then my mind is at rest!
