I am thinking of replacing my head unit with a Becker Indianapolis. I have seen them selling for £399.
Does anyone have any experience of using these with an IPOD.
My current head unit (Pioneer) controls my IPOD, which is in the glovebox and out of site.
I would like to setup a similar arrangement with the Becker unit if possible.
I also have another couple of questions
1) Do you need to by any extra cables to get a RCA (phono) Sub output
2) Does it have a LPF/HPF (and can you alter the cut-off on the Sub output)
3) Do you know where I could get said IPOD adapter for the unit.
My reason for change is that I currently use my PDA with Co-Pilot and its a bit big and bulky. it's also a pain if I forget and let the PDA battery go dead!
I would like to change for an all in one unit, but don't want to miss out on the IPOD and good sound quality that my Pioneer gives me (even if it isn't the best looking unit in the world!)
Thanks
