Just wondering if anyone has a had a similar prob to me?
I went away last weekend, car parked on drive from Thursday pm, went to open car Tuesday morning, wouldn't open, soon realised the battery was completely flat. I opened the door with the key, nothing obviously left on.
Called Seat Assist (i.e. the AA) that evening, the AA guy put a booster on the battery and started the car no probs, looked and said he couldn't see anything that had been left on and drained the battery. I never leave the lights on, but even so the have the 'coming home' feature so definitely WAS NOT this.
The guy checked out that the alternator was charging the battery, no probs.
He told me to drive the car for an hour to charge the battery! Humm.
I put my trickle charger on over night, no probs since.
Now, I've checked with my neightbours, the alarm was not going off while we were away. I've booked it in with the dealer to have a look, but I don't have any confidence they will find anything. I'm just puzzled as to what could possibly have drained the battery, as I say fine ever since.
The only accessory I have fitted is a Parrot bluetooth kit, and that is ignition live only.
