earlier in the week i got back to the carpark afterwork to find my batery dead... figured maybe my batery was on its way out and the cold finished it off
but following morning no issues or that evening or this morning.... get back to car tonight.... dead again

any common fault with this? does it sound like a dead batery pack or is something drainging it? i notice that when i try to start it once dead the radio tries to come on (even tho i have turned it off when i got out this morning) could this have life of its own and turn on itself draining batery?

very confused
help:doh:

A few people are having random turning on and off of headunit at the moment.

I have never been a fan of being able to turn the headunit on with no key in the ignition, asking for trouble really

Can you get an ammeter? take the +ve cable off and put the ammeter between it and the battery.

That will let you know how much current is being drawn when the car is off.

DONT DO THIS AND TRY TO START THE CAR.

Check fuses and crap like that too. Process of ellimination.

yeh but what i mean is the current isnt being drawn all the time cos its not dead every morning, so it might not draw anything and ill think its ok but in reality it might just not be in the mood!! haha
