right, really silly easy question, but it seems too easy to believe!

looking at investing into a badgless grill. simple enough. seen a couple on the 'bay, like this one below:

i always thought you buy the whole frame work, and paint it. Ive been putting this investment off for ages, as its a ball ache to start painting grills etc. However, looking at this, you just buy the black plastic grill itself, and bolt it to your orginal frame housing.

is this true?

not seen that before, but a simple way of de-badging.or go buy some mesh(cut to fit),both fit to your standard surround.

I have looked at that grill before and I think it is a skanking rip off!
Buy some mesh for like a fiver!!
I did my grill today, make sure you have plenty of time as it is not the easiest job to do! My main problems with it were that the grill is attached with plastic rivets, which basicaly means a lot of difficulty getting them off without damaging the grill housing! I found that attacking them with a drill and a sharp chisel worked alright! Then attaching the mesh was fine you just need to have the right type of screws, short and with a wide thread with a large enough head to hold the grill down, or you could use washers! Also the other tricky bit is the two clips that hold the grill onto the car, there are three plastic joints on each clip, push the middle one up to release the clip! I don't recommend removing the headlights to take the grill off as they are pain to put back on.
Heres what mine looks like! It might just be me but I swear that when you look at it face on it looks just like a saxo!

yea 30 of the queens finest is a little pricey for a bit of plastic, but hassel free and effective!. Mesh seems to do the job though! just seems alot of messing about! lol.

hm i hate choice! think ill have to strip the grill down for myself and see what sort of job it is.
