bad boy alarm system!

in a cople of months im wanting to purchase an alarm system for my ibiza cupra.

im wanting the engine start button for warming the car/turbo up and cooling it down and an alarm that sounds a warning if someone walks close to it! and it must be loud!

any ideas??? prices???

same, al even make a beep noice when u lock it. "night sam" "beeep"

dont get a warning if people stand near it, it justs provokes chavs to attack it and pissed of ordinary people and makes the owner of the car look like a t$at. Fine for on your drive just not good for parking on the street!

my previous car i had a clifford alarm that had an alert when you walked near it its bad news just attracts more attention to the car i ended up turning it off!

think remote starting removes the CAT 1 status iirc, but the clifford 650 system has everything else you could ask for, including the external proxie sensor and the custom beeps etc. o got a quote of less thn £450 fully fitted.
just my 2p and gives you a rough starting price for a top system

the reason i want a decent alarm is the cat1 alarm already fitted is the most appauling alarm system its a joke! i can shake kick push roll the car and it wont even beep!!!! in simple words its kack!!!!


my car was keyed the other day out side my g/f's house and if my alarm actually was anygood it would have triggered and i would have kicked some ass also with the the IHI turbo going on next week i want a key start button so in the morning i dont have to get up for work run out the door start the car and run back in the house sort all my stuff out (risk it getting nicked too) then when ready getting in and driving off!!!

i struggle to sleep round my missis house after what happend and i now have to have the window open so i can hear! (sad ol me )

cliford alarm is an obvious choice but wanted to see what else pp have heard of

good point davels as if my alarm is 1 of the best id hate to know what the lower spec models have eg a bomb a shower of bullets and a rhino would be needed to set it off

there is a push button that activates/deactivates the sonic sensor isn't there on the standard system? i'd get the viper but theres no real specs on imobilisation or anythin, gonna look at the technology bit to see if it answers any questions

1 press means locked and activarted sensors and press it twice to get the locked but unsensored

Your standard alarm will BEEP when you lock it if you know someone with Vagcom to activate it.
I think you can alter the sensitivity too, but not 100% sure.
