Well, I got my 2nd Arosa June last year....had a Mark I orange one, then a couple of different cars, then a Mark II black one..........was nowhere near as impressed with it as I was with the orange one. Never seemed as nippy.....hated the electric windows as well.
SO............this weekend I've just picked up another Mark I...........a lovely electric blue colour this time. and it's fast like the other Mark I was......my Ebay bargain.
I was going to keep the black one but got fed up and it was costing me a bomb with the HP so I've handed it back. Couldn't afford the loan and in no way wanted it for another 3 years !!
I think the new/old one has an issue or two. I'll take it in for a check-up. I can hear a wheel bearing "tinging" It has a new radio/CD but the radio doesn't work (and there IS an aerial) and I want to check if the cambelt is OK-it's done 84K.
It's great to have windey windows again as well. My dogs never even realised I'd changed cars either as it's still a great model for folding seats FLAT for the hounds !!
If you've had both models which do you prefer ?? I'll certainly never bother with a Mark II again myself.....

love my MK2

i guess my Arosa is a MK2 as its 2002. it must count as nippy as i overtook a Leon Cupra R on the race track. (see' AmD Arosa V Quattro' on youtube thing.) its now on 69,000 miles and i change the oil every 1,000 miles (yes!) and has never left me on the side of the road. the MK1 has an old polo dash? and narrow headlights? i think they go for peanuts now. no room for dogs with my 1 seat and a rollcage. they wouldnt like being thrown around on corners anyway, i guess. (dog sick?)

blue is the colour!

cool blue paint, but it does need dropping down a bit + some 6 by 14 inch alloys off a MK1 or 2 golf to cheer it up a bit. cheap motoring and never any rust! yupee.
