Ah lovely. Another chance to recount my experience with B&H.
I used to take my company Cupra there when it was the only dealer in Cumbria. Asked for a courtesy car. When the guy rolled out an A reg Metro I was less than impressed. Nice and polite I says to the service manager (nice guy) "have you not got anything a bit nicer" (what I really meant was have you not got anything that might get me home without killing me). Chap says he'll have to wait 'til the gaffer comes in. Fair enough.
Gaffer comes in, side chat. Gaffer looks at me as if I am something that even the cat would not drag in. Offended, I say to the man that I don't think it unreasonable for someone bringing in a brand new car for service to expect something slightly newer (an older
Ibiza or Arosa would have done fine).
I don't have to give you a car at all you know
Rather than continue the argument I took the slightly newer Fiesta (H reg?) and went, vowing never to darken this individual's garage door again.
So when I bought a new Cupra a while back I went to H&H despite them being miles further away and slightly more expensive. From H&H I get professional service, a courtesy car that doesn't look like it would kill me and nice coffee.
B&H? Staff probably OK, boss is a
