Only difference is the emissions rating then? CAT must be slightly different.

seems that claims alot of rumours false e.g. aqx only having 1 lambda so fitting a decat is fine...and that no model has vvt

Thats right, This is Seat ELSA so it isn't wrong.

AQX has two Lambda Probes... Trust me i've had to change both on my AQX engine. Those who say they just have one either aren't looking hard enough or are going off hearsay evidence!

As far as im aware they dont have VVT and they all have 2 lambdas.

Only the BAM and APX engines that had VVT.

This is the VVT sensor on the BAM engine (its not on the AQX or the AYP):

Fair comment mate. But Ibiza's do have VVT although its not the same as BAM,AMK etc

Matt, any chance of finding out if the wiring loom for an AQX is identicle to an AYP?

I was too, just havent had the time to go to SEAT and 100% confirm it, cant see the main or sub-engine wiring loom differing in any way though.
