Axle Stands

Hey all,

Need to get under the engine..

Got my trolley jack and Axle stands,

But wondering where is the best place to actually use the axle stands? actuaslly on the axels or the jacking points or??

subframe or a suitably solid piece of car

Well basically want to do it tommorow as have a pressing issue with the car which the dealer can't find!

I can think of better things other than CupraTgirl propping up your leon....

You can stick them under the axle (i'm being non specific), and especially in the days where most cars had live axles.

Like Mark says solid bits of the can like the subframes - not thin metal floor for example.

If you're not sure - dont, you dont want a car dropping on yer head or bending somthing.
