Awesome air filter pipe for the 225 lcr

this is the mutts nuts got it from B&Q of all places, if your looking for the perfect cold air feed pipe for your air filter look no further, its 1m long approx 4" dia and best of all its reflective foil coated with metal coils inside so it reflects heat and you can bend it to go around the battery..... if requested i will post photo but it fits perfect and ill be at the may meet on the 28th at the darlaston inn at stone 5pm this sunday if you would like to take a look.

iv got sum of this stuff, it breaks up over time due to the heat, falls apart

i found some better stuff thats well strong and perfectly smooth inside

B&Q 4" ally ducting is better than the plastic coated stuff............

nah trust me that stuff breaks apart with the heat, you mark my words and its not smooth on the inside either

I've had it on for a year & 24k miles. What heat? Tests have shown that 4" 'ridged' will deliver the same air volume as 3 1/2" smooth..................

heat from the engine, i went through about 3 or 4 sets of that exact pipe on my 106 gti, it will split and crumble if it hasnt yet then your lucky, but ticking time bomb
