My 'auxiliary water pump' is leaking. This is the pump that sits underneath the slam panel and just above the drivers side radiator fan. Are these a sealed unit? How do you get them off and the new one on and where is the best place to get one from? Seat want £85 plus the dreaded!

My aux pump started leaking and eventually motor stopped working, think the coolant got into it. I couldn't find a supplier local to me so had to pay loads from seat dealer. It's not too bad to fit just a bit fiddly with the pump bracket!

Hi mate,
How did you get the old one off? Access to it looks a bit of a bugger but from what I can see I have to take the plastic shield off the slam panel to access the mounting bolts?

the bolts under the plastic shielding aint captive, so it was a right pain when i did mine, but i loosened them as much as i could then covered the pump in fairy and slid it out.

fitting is reverse of removal :D
