Aux Belts

Hi,
will ATD engines have an aux belt? if so where/how can i get my hands on a replacement?

as far as im aware they all do, to drive the alternator/ac compressor. replacements from euro car parts or dealers.

Thanks guys, any idea of part number? just to be sure this is'nt the same as the cam/timing belt?

correct its not the same as the cam/timing belt. not sure on the part number, but you could get it from VAGCAT maybe?

Is it the one with aircon? If so, I have a spare aux belt from my aircon removal session. Yours for postage alone. As long as it's ATD with aircon, my belt will be the perfect fit. It's a "ribbed" belt which means it has 6 ribs along the belt which fit into the grooves on the aircon compressor, alternator, and the crank.
