Automatic folding mirrors..

I've noticed on newer Fords (and Jags) that when the car is unlocked via remote, folded mirrors automatically unfold along with the usual courtesy lights coming on.

Is this possible on a MK2 Tolly, along with automatic headlights like on newer VAG cars?

If so how can it be done?

Some new audi's have the function too, it may be possible to program it, but more than likely would have to go to the stealers

As far as I know, this function is only available if you have 'memory' seats - as fitted to the V5's.. ..the ret of us have to turn the switch - oh the agony!

My V5 folding mirrors only works with the mirror switch, would be pretty cool if it could work with remote though. Hopefully someone might know how it's done.

Nice one Phil - the prices for the whole range seem reasonable. But if UK cars eg. VW/Audi and Ford already have these functions available, surely a European manufacturer does similar modules..

Nobody found a way of programming/re-programming the standard modules to do it, hence the Reflex...

Yeah i do the Mirror switch when im racing it makes the Car More aerodynamic!!
