Where's your sensor and how do you find the wipers performance?

Mine is in top corner on passengers side. I find the wipers to be a bit hit and miss just now. Can you alternate between auto and intermittent using the timing switch on the stalk?

Mine is in the same place and it can be very hit as miss.

Ice seems to activate the wipers constantly and I've had the window covered in water on a number of occassions and the wipers not activated so I had to activate them myself.

I suppose they can never be 100% as the sensor only covers a small area of the screen.

One neat touch it that is you engage reverse the back wiper will come on as well if the front screen is wet.

Not found a way of using intermittent, but then again haven't really tried sorry.

Mines hanging down from the passengers corner at the moment !! Had a new windscreen fitted just before crimbo, came out boxing day and it was hanging in midair , garage not open again until next week, very infuriating !!!! don`t find them as good as the VX autowipers tbh ...

I didn't think it was the best location. The screen is a top tint so part of the sensor is cover in effect.

As Jace says. the middle of the screen is better, but I think the wipers may miss that area.......just thought of that as I was typing.

The sensor is in the top left corner as that's drivers side for the left hand drive market.

I think donnyboy's right, it can't go behind the mirror as the wipers don't cover that part of the windscreen.

I've found them the best auto wipers to date but my only previous experience is on Honda and Vauxhall.

frleon2007 mine did this and I also swapped blades - same thing. I now suspect it is something to do with the spring holding the wiper arm to the screen and will be checking in at the dealers just as soon as I get back from NZ...
