Audi tt short shifter part number problem

Hi guys
Ordered up my tt short shifter today with the part number: 8N0 711 051b
This is what came:

Guessing this is the wrong one as nothing like my old one.
Then used this part number: 8N0 711 046A
But apparently this number doesn't exsist anymore and the first number I used had replaced it.
Any other way I can describe it?
Or can this part be used? He said something about another cable?
Any help would be great!

Can only be off a FWD 1.8t TT and 90% of them are Quattro.

Sort of, but

Its from a 5 speed box, rather than the 6 speed quattro.

Hello mate i have just done the tt short shift on my ibiza. Audi have this part you have as updated part for the old part number as i had the same problem. The part you have is for a quattro and wont work with the ibiza

Part number for the part you need is 8n0 711 051A not b.

You also need to get the end of the tt cable as the tt one has a pinwith a circlip and the ibiza has a ball joint. You just have to swap the ibiza cable end with the tt one bolt it up and away you go
