Hello folks,

I really need some help fitting audi S3 (2000) brakes on my cupra.

i was told you need to remove soms bits from the caliper carrier to fit the caliper.

and drill the discs (thats not the problem)

can anybody tell me what part to remove from the calipercarrier?

(yes i allready used the search function) but i didn't found anything.
i know it's possible somehow.

Thanks!

S3 brakes should be the same which I am fitting now. the 312mm ones right?

I asked the same question quite a few times, and finally got a picture.

I find it very difficult sometimes to translate into Spanish what is said is clear and I do not like putting the brakes S3/audi TT 225, 312mm in a ibiza Cupra. Someone could make me a favor and explain the steps, makes me much needed

Thanks

Exists any problem for drill the disc? For example, the discs weakened by this...

Sorry for all the questions, but here it is the only forum which knows what modifications do in this car, and that works perfectly

First, thanks for answer me. One of the things that concerns me is that i break the disc or is warped by drill it.
Another thing is, that in one post i read what it dont modificate nothing to put this brakes on ibiza, but in this, i read what i necesite to fit the caliper modificate something and i dont understand what

Sorry for my english

All you need to do is mill down the carriers like I have done here

And redrill the discs to 4x100. This means you need to drill only 2 extra holes! for the 2 others you can use the ones that are already in the disc.

How many mm did I mill down? Only mill down in carriers? Because I found a picture in which there were also lower in the caliper.

From what I read the lines of the brake s3/TT are perfectly valid

Thanks

Somebody could take me a photo from caliper, and the front of the disc?

dont take to bad. If I ask more, it is because the pieces cost much money, and I do not want break them.

I am probably more complicated because in each threads which I read, or each one makes the modification different, or I dont understand good the translate.

by it, I need you ask me the questions I ask in this thread. Logically if you want.

ok...

when I wanted this set I received many different answers of what needed to be done. But now I have the set fitted. The first picture, the one of the yellow carriers, is the only modification you need to do (besides redrilling the discs). You can see that they were milled down by 6mm on the bolt holes. That will land it in the middle of the discs, and job done.

if you need more help just ask
