Attention any Traders - Remaps 170TDi

This is a question aimed at any traders on the forum who sells remaps.

Has anyone remapped the new 2.0TDi - 170bhp engine, found in the Audi A3, Passat and the New leon?

If anyone has done any of this cars could you please comment on how well they remap? I know its a hard question to answer but are they seeing the usual 30-40bhp increase from these engines?

I have tuned 3 of these units so far.

The gains are approx. +35bhp and +70NM of torque

Sounds very good.

Can you comment on the new piezo injectors then? any ideas what turbo is being used? VNT17 or bigger?

No, dont work in the industry just wanting to know for my own benefit. I thinking very seriously about buying the new leon FR so I want to know if its worth the extra money over the 140. Which one remaps better and the final output matter to me.

Do you know what turbo is used?

If you could explain/describe it what ever why is easiest for you Ill work it out.

I think what we are trying to establish is:

does the stock turbo have much additional boost available over standard, and similarly, do the injectors have additional injection capacity.
I drove a Leon yesterday and I have to say it felt too quiet and 'flat'. I do admiit I have an allard tuned fabia pd100 (181/300).
Usual manufacture maps are hopeless as they have to consider wide quality of fuels available.
So P torque et al. any comments.

Could you tell me the stock boost you see from a 170 and what you run the 170 at in your modified map?

Tuned = 1,55

what increases does this see in bhp and torque?

The minimum increase is +28bhp and +55NM of torque.
