Arm rest removal

How do i go about getting the armrest off the bracket? I've had the rear ashtray out and had a mooch underneath but to no avail, trying to replace the lcr one with a leather one from a golf.

I dont know how you get them out, but when you get it sorted, can I buy the armrest from you?? I guess it is black cloth type??

on a golf you have to prize off the black plastic side trims of the mount
them you can see the workings or the arm rest.you will need to slide both seat
foreward to do this.

Cheers for the link, i have seen that page before when i searched but it doesn't show how the armrest attaches to the bracket - i've got that armrest but need to take it off the existing bracket - can i do that without taking the whole bracket off?

I *think* that the bracket is connected to the actual rest by one slide clasp.
