Hello, Had my 2001 Cupra for a yr now, never really had problems with water leaks before although I had been warned it can happen with the Leon. I left my car at the airport for a week and when I came back I needed wellies on before I could drive home. Does anyone know of a way to fix this ? My local Seat dealer wanted £350 to sort it, which I think justifies me having a go myself first.

Cheers

Hi mate,

If it is on the drivers side footwell then it could be a leak coming from behind the dash.

You will have to look under the dash by taking the lower cover off. Have a look to the right above the bonnet leaver, and see if the steel bar has a bit of 'water rust' on.

Cheers
