buy a resistor from ebay for about 2p and put in the right place will do the same thing. tis a complete waste of time. and will probaly do more harm than good.
Now I reckon my 1.8T sucks about 320 CFM of air at 5000 rpm (without taking boost into account), so fitting one of these would be like sticking my hand over the end of my CAI?
Yes, I suppose so, you can't argue with facts, my maths must be wrong. Plus, it makes a noise like a real supercharger (do they mean one that actually works?)
A stock turbo from an Audi 1.8T produces 400CFM. Adding an Air Intake Blower will produce more then half of the power than a stock Audi 1.8T turbo would but you don't need to do any modifications to your engine.
a friend fitted one of those "+15 bhp" on his toyota Matrix and it did NOTHING... his 1/4 mille times didn´t change, and we live at sea level!!.. and the electric super charger.. COME ON! if you install it on a turbo charged engine it will be sucked up when the turbo comes alive!! hahahahahaha..
