Are these mirrors legal?

I've just brought some FR stickers off Ebay for the wing mirror glass for about £3. They're similar to this but instead of SEAT they say FR and smaller. Gonna put them in the bottom corner of the glass nearest the doors. I think they will look pretty cool but its just struck me whether they are legal or not as they will blocking a bit (albeit very small) part of the mirror.

Anything stuck on the side mirrors would cause a distraction when looking into them, also restricing (however small) a portion of the view behind you/to the side.

Why not stick your " FR " stickers in the bottom corner of the rear quarter windows instead - could look quite effective?
Will achieve the same effect, also wont be any question marks as to the placement of them come MOT time / Police stopping you.

I would say yes, legal ... as the mirrors will still provide the function they are there for ...

Personally I would find these a distraction though ...

I must admit that I'm not a fan of the one picture but its the closest i could find to the ones i'm getting. the ones i've ordered are a lot smaller and just the FR logo and look quite subtle. Anyway only £3 so will just have to wait til they arrive to see what they look like

I use my mirrors quite a lot (transit stylee) and the standard mirrors are small enough without restricting them more. Nice stickers though, bit like the F2 World Rally stickers you see on some mk2 ibizas.

After over a year I've finally got round to putting these on along with brake caliper decals. Looks pretty tight I think and doesn't really distract me or obscure my view at all really. Nice little mod for only a few £££

i think they look good. they're small enough to not cause a distraction.

they look good mate. i bought some white 'S' ones for my mirrors, had them on nearly a year and not been at all distractin!! nice subtle touch
