Are reflectors a legal requirement

are the reflectors on the rear bumper a legal requirement?
heres what i plan to do to my car, excuse the photoshop, i suck on it!

seen it done on a few ibizas and really like the look of it, but i thought i read on here somewhere that ther must be relfectors visable from the rear?

i think they are a legal requirement, however, you could just stick on a set with blue tack or similar come MOT time.

only a leagl requirement if you have'nt got reflectors in the normal light clusters, which on an ibiza you have'nt.

However its also kid of a safety requirement too which does make sense, as when your car is parked you want other uses to see it parked there so they don;t hit it.
