Looking to liven up the old Pug with a lick of paint etc, but the front wings have seen better days and showing signs of rust underneath the paint.

To me it makes sense, changing the bolt on panels rather than trying to fill/repair.

But are these aftermarket panels any good or are they wafer thin that will dent and crease on the slightest pressure.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

This is the sort of thing i was looking at.

thickness normally isn't an issue more likely the way they have been stamped out may have them slightly out of line

to be honest with a wing it's just a case of a good push here n there to line it up

i would go with a decent local one that supplies Veng or SSVG panels, you can take em back then as they are cheap as chips anyway about £35 a wing round here

panels

if it's an older pug you've got.. getting the panels off a scrapped one would work, and there's plenty out there..

I'd guess between £5 and £15 for a front wing... although getting the seal to break along the top and rear lip's might be awkward..

good luck:)
