Apr Stuck In Chipped Octane 98 Mode

My APR is stuck in the Third program mode (Chipped mode for 98 octane).
I cant change the program mode and the engine management light does not flash.
The car has four modes all selectable via retrofitted cruise control stalk.
1). one flash for stock program.
2). two flashes for chipped mode program 95 octane.
3). three flashes for chipped mode programm 98 octane.
4). four flashes for valet mode.

I normally put the car in stock mode when i give mates or missus.
Can anyone help me

Its been put into lock-out then, you need the 4 digit security code its been set to. Though i've not had an APR car for some years, that was a feature of the system.

agreed with Zboyd, sounds like you have locked it out.
its easily done if you press the right button for long enough (the resume button) or if you have played around with the battery it will automatically go into locked state
do you know the pin code?

yes i know the pin code.
but when i press the (set) right button nothing happens.

if its locked nothing will happen unless you enter the code.
how are you entering the code?

Here you go fella, I have scanned in a copy of the APR instructions for entering the code. You do need your 4 digit PIN code, and be prepared to have a couple of goes as it doesnt always work first time.

If you have disconnected the battery or the ecu, IT ALWAYS REVERTS TO LOCK OUT MODE but it will NOT stay in chipped mode it uses PROG1 usually (standard map) so you were actully in stock mode not chipped, this is to stop dealers trying to see if it is mapped
