I have them on mine with DS2500 pads.

They were fitted by the previous owner but had only done about 2k miles when I bought it. Can't tell you how much better they are than standard as I never drover it standard.

All I can say is that they are miles better than the 312mm brakes on my previous LC and are more than up to the job of coping with my IHI turbo on the road. Have yet to go on track with it so can't comment on that but can't fault them on the road. They seem to have the opposite of fade and just get better the more you use them and are still good cold :)

I did read somewhere that Badger5 does some larger 2-piece ones for similar money - 330mm with adapters for the calipers and he reckons they're better than the AP's which he has had warp on the track.

Thanks for that stewbie. The ones i was looking at were 330mm too,i think ap have made them specially for the cupra r.I am running ds2500 pads on standard discs at minute which is good but now im looking at discs too and you seem very limited for choice with the cupra r,and listening to various threads about ebc it seems some people rate them and some dont,so i have decided to wait a couple of months and save up for ap 2 piece discs, which with the ds pads i was told was more or less a race set up,only problem is ill have to buy some more ds pads to run with new discs which adds to the cost more,oh well i think itll be worth it.

AP style disks are not "special" for the LCR. They're std components to them. The bells is what tailors the brakes to the LCR.

I run/offer both AP and a.n.other make of disk... as used and raced on myself. I race on the 330's for LCR's same disks/bells etc, just redrilled in 4x100 for ickle ibiza.

The AP's worked ok, but did crack on me. (grooved) and at their price, and a two successive same failures but in less time 2nd time round, I went and tried a.n.other make of AP style disk. At lower pricing the others disks worked as well as the AP's but also cracked. I race, and this is simply how things are. No one makes uncrackable disks... its a question of how long they will last and their relative starting price.

So far, the other brand has also had one or two ups and downs, but it seems a little bit of a lottery when it comes to casting batches on both AP and the other brand. That and poor bedding in technique and you can turn a ££ brake kit into a juddering nightmare.

330x28 work well. Stoptastic. ~£499
They are significantly lighter too.
Same as these but bells are not natural ally finish not bling blue.

Cheers.
