Im having my car lowerd tomorrow and as i cant be there i just wounderd if anyone with AP coilovers could tell me how low they have wound the fronts down to get the wheels pretty level with the arch .I.E how much thread is left on the bottom. This way i can pre adjust them tonight so they will at least be pretty close to what im after .Would like about a 10mm gap above the tyre no more.Ive got face lift 17" alloys if it helps and the car is a FR TDI .

Mines all the way down on the back with the ajuters still in and its 17cm from the top of the hub to the adjuster on the front if you get what i mean.

i had to roll the front arches and run 195/40's on the front to stop it rubbing, and it catches on the exhaust with more than one person in it on square speed humps, also on some the front subframe. looks good though lol

Hi thanks for the reply Nam.Basicaly i dont want to be rolling the arches and will be happy with a similar gap to the back .so i will have to go a little higher than you .How or where are you mesuring from as im confused asto the hub ,do you meanfrom the top of the strut body to the top of the adjuster?.Ive pre set mine with 45mm left of thread on the bottom mesuring from the underside of the adjuster base to the bottom of the thread.
