My induction kit has now arrived!!!

After speaking with a couple of you, it seems that its best to have the cold air pipe facing towards the front of the car in the engine bay.

Was just wondering if any of you have any pics I could have a look at with this done?

Wont be fitting it till weekend so theres no rush.;)

I wanted know where you could get Jabbasport ones from. I was limited to what I could get because i got £200 worth of Halfrauds vouchers from work so I got the Induction kit from there.

Dont particually like Halfrauds but seeing as I had £200 worth of vouchers for there it made sense to get it from there which cost me sweet f.a of my own money.;)

Took me nearly 3 weeks to get the thing, they were useless in there[:@]

Oh i remember that now! I didnt know they did Dynatwists in there to be honest?

You could always sell the Dynatwist and get the Jabbasport one with the money you get? If that was the one you wanted?

My airfeed is on the hard shoulder of the m4, it decided that it didnt want to live - along with my misses' cat. No adverse effects without it, better if I do say so.

I cant really say if they are good or not as i have not had one for myself but i have just heard a mixture of things to be honest, then again i have heard a mixture of things about every item you can get for these cars! Its the only way these companies make so much money is because everyone has their own opinions on things!

I wanted a Dynatwist Induction Kit (used to be the equivalent of the Hurricaine Induction Kit) for ages but could never afford it so after having the standard one for almost a year i thought i would try the Open Filter i have now (went back to standard just after the 60,000 mile Service but have it back on now)

I wouldnt go back to a Closed Filter now if i could help it because i like the noise you get from an Open Filter but i know some people like the noise the Dynatwist makes and have mixed opinions on Open Filters too

Its just a case now that i am going to end up spending about £40 more than you have on your Dynatwist, to get a good Open Filter but i know it will be worth it

Its up to you what you do to be honest, im not saying the Dynatwist is bad its just personal taste!

I think they are a waste of money, I noticed no difference at all from mine so I sold it about a month after installing it.

My friend has one fitted and after moving the air pipe it makes a nice sound but thats it!

Yeah open air filters sound quality I reckon, gives a good throaty grunt on a car. I never thought about an open one for my ibiza cos I was under the impression you got less power gains from the open air filters.

I knwo its not a great deal of power from a filter but every Horsey counts!;)

It would be intresting to see other Ibizas in the flesh & see what things people have done to them. I havent seen an ibiza about near me at all, Everything im doing to my car is what ive learnt from people & just asking advice.

How come you dont come to one of the meets we organise in the 'Southern meets Section?'

We had the 'Bank Holiday meet' yesterday at The Fairmile in Cobham and there was about 25 of us there and probably one of the best turn outs for MK3 Ibiza Cupras i have seen in a long time at a normal meet, oh and there was one MK3 Ibiza Cupra R too ;)

I know a few peeps that run the Open Filters on them and you get a REALLY nice 'Wooooshhhyyy' noise, it helps if you have other bits too but mine is standard exceot for Forge007P and its VERY loud

Its only cos Ive not long had the car, I did see a few posts on meets etc, to be honest I was lazy this weekend didnt really do much. Its the poor weather putting me off doing things.

Yeah ill pop down to one your lots meets sometime. I see you have one at Hunters Lodge, wheres that near?

Ive got my dumpvalve as well now, Its just a case of getting it on & see what its like.

True unsheiled open filters are going to give less performance, jabbas design is the best of both worlds.

Warm air - less dense - less o2 - less bang - less power - simple really.

Yeah the Hunters Lodge one is on the third Wednesday of the month! Its in Knaphill but not far from Reading really

There did used to be a meet in Reading at The George Pub in Earley but that went quiet

Its worth the travel to these as they are a good laugh and you get a good selection of cars too
