Anyone using 100% Biodiesel?

As the title suggests, I'm just wondering if anyone is using 100% Biodiesel in a PD engine. I went down to look at some equipment for producing some for the company I work for and wondered if I could get some cheap fuel...

One of the guys I met said he was using it in his range rover with no problems, he even said it was running a bit cleaner!

According to the manual, VAG only recommend a max 5% bio blend, I don't know if this is because of lubrication issues or what.

I've run a couple of tanks of the Rix 5% Bio and it was fine, no difference really.

There's also some blurb about RMS fuel too but I've no idea what that's about

yup agreed with craig. havent heard of any nutter with 100% in a PD

Well at one point, VW said you could use full strength BIO in the PDs (IIRC, my Ibiza manual said so, as long as it met the relevant standards).

However, they seemed to have change their stance more recently.
