Anyone tried LED replacements for 382 P21w DRL bulbs yet?

Great.

Side lights looked great, as I was round the front checking them the lights came on and then I noticed the sidelights being yellow! Didnt think I was bother but it does look pants.

I don't think you'll have any problems with 'canbus friendly' LED sidelight replacements, especially if you replace your DRLs with LED versions, which run much cooler.

I had some of those LED sidelights in my FR but they died after several months and when I took them out, the PCB looked all brown and dodgy... I think heat from the H1 main beam bulb (in the position where the DRL is on your car) had killed them.

Sidelight LED's work well - they only work one way round unlike the halogen bulbs but when there in correct then work a treat - no light fault on the dash and match the xenon pretty well.

My FR is now all sorted with these LED bulbs - makes a huge difference. £30 well spent.

I’ve been using these for about 5 months, with no problems :)

Dude,

Just got my R last night and cant believe that it would come with such yellow bulbs...

CANBUS friendly blubs are just simple straight swaps, if the sidelights dont work then turn the bulb round.

Running mine for 6weeks now. Had a bulb light appear once - turned lights off and back on again (with engine running) and bulb light went out and all ok. Must have been a glitch !

I have found if you have the lights on auto it can throw a paddy.
To avoid bulb warning lights, start engine then switch lights on.
Apart from that the bulbs are great!

I'm still very happy with them, Jake. Haven't noticed any flickering (some cheapo LED units exhibit this after a while). Of course, they're still pretty new but my fingers are crossed they'll stay working as I really like the look of them. :)

And how do these look at night time, in dark light?

Alot of the LED lights look great at dawn/dusk (even during the day) - nice and "White", but then when it IS dark, they look very Blue'ish !
The reason I went back to standard with mine  (a different brand).

Anyone manage to get some of the DRL's shown above recently? I've tried a few places with no luck!

Got a set of side light LED's and number plate LED's and both have failed within 5 minutes of putting into car. Number plate ones wouldn't even go in without popping the error message up, and they were "canbus error free" specified. Side lights seemed to work fine till the passanger side on failed with only half the LED's working after 5 mins! Needless to say I was a bit hacked off! :censored:

As the only 382 Led bulbs for DRL's that are reported to actually work are out of stock, has anyone used these clicky They work out £4 more expensive but they are brighter than the 27 CMD LED ones........

Somebody try to put Skoda Fabia vRS LED DRL's on Leon?

I had activate DRL on my Leon FR, fog lights shine with 60% intensity...
I think to put vRS LED's instead of OEM foglights...
