Ive emailed forge so just waiting for a reply.

But has anyone else got problems running a Split-R? VAG-COM gave me a 17608 code, so i changed the DV to standard bosch one and the codes now gone.

Anyone else?

well boost leak i doubt when i have the standard bosch on with no error codes now. Ive read numerous posts on this forum, vortex, elite dubs etc saying DV, DV, DV.

if replaced with the standard bosch unit and the code isnt present anymore after reset and a thorough drive

it would point towards the DV to me

i just read the instructions and followed them. It says if it rattles then turn it out 2 full turns, if it doesnt then turn it out 2 turns. It didnt rattle so i turned it out

"the valve spring and piston will probably give an audible rattle at this point. Screw the adjuster clockwise until the rattle stops (somewhere between 1 and 2 full turns). If the valve does not rattle from new at idle then just screw in the adjuster 2 full turns".

Im going to go remove my N249 bypass and run it OEM style as forge have said and see what happens

Panic over. Appolgies to forge, it wasnt anything major it was just the T-piece going to my boost guage and DV was fitted the wrong way.

Its all good, the only bad thing is im down £50 for a new N249 which wasnt needed!!! Cest la vie
