anyone fitted race seats yet?

i have just pulled out my rear seats and the fronts are soon to follow, i will be replacing them with recaro or some other make of race seat as yet undecided on exact type, just wondering if anyone else has already done the install and what type of seats/subframes were used, really cant find any decent info on this and need to know if i will end up needing to weld/chop/grind etc to get them to fit.

If you're struggling to find subframes, I believe the Mk4 Golf shares the same ones so have a look for those instead.
