Anyone Fitted Oil Temp Gauge

Do they need a temp sensor fitting or can they be connected to an existing part?

Will need a temp sender fitting, should come with the gauge. This is the best place. thers a blanking plug already there.

Nice one mate, just hope the gauge comes with one and it has the same thread.

Although there is a blanking plug there, most of the time there seized in and quite hard to get to, I found it alot easier and less time consuming spending the £20 and getting the sump plug from demon tweeks with the middle tapped out for the sensor. Was nice and easy as i was doing a oil change at the same time. Apprently much more accurate aswell.

I use that position for oil pressure. Sump plug for oil temp for me although its probably not the most accurate position to take a temp reading.
