Kept my Aura just incase I flog the car. I dont think they are worth much, and I'd rather keep stereo than have £40 in my pocket.

Doeas anyone know of any stereo similar to that sony one, (complete black face but that flips down) but that also plays MP3 discs?
Sorry to revive another old thread! Have you had any problems with this unit? I've got the 2008 model of this unit and it "crashes" fairly often, just turns itself off and needs reseting to be revived. Wondering if its a common issue or if mine is dodge!? cheers.

double din console and fascia doesn't come with an ash tray or ciggy lighter so custom made a ciggy lighter holder, i was well chuffed with the out come

iv got the sat nav in the dash,and an apline head unit in the glovey,but my car is in the garage so cant show off my beauty

you need to buy a sat nav console from the dealer plus a replacement fascia about 250 ish pounds
its pretty much straight forward remove old strereo, there 2 screws that sit behind holding the console, then remove cup holder and switches and look for the rest of the screws it should come out then put the new console in the same way the old one came out

You can turn the "screen" off so it's all black, then it activates whenever you operate the stereo.

My nice Fusion headunit. Had it about 2 years now and it's great. It has lots of connectors on the back for things like SUB, Front Amp, Rear Amp, Line In, Phono In etc. Sorry about the dust. The only thing i don't like about this stereo are the illumination(red or green) colours as they don't match the Seat.

I can only seem to find the Alpine CDA-9812RB, which is silver and wouldn't look anywhere near as good in my Cupra R. Where did you get yours from and how much are you talking?
