any leon FRs rolling on dubs?

Dubs is the term given to wheels over 20", so I doubt you'll find many on them

well most "dub" cars are rolling on small rims and low as f##k...so never really understood that term "dub" nethertheless...are there any leons out there rollong on types such as compomotive or borbets?

Or Euro Dub / V-DUB... as in slammed to the ground, small, wide wheels, with stretched tyres over them?

think he means small wide wheels as the euro vw boys use, just confusing as he called them dubs, a us term for wheels 20in plus.

there are a few i've seen in VW Performance, mostly in show reports from european GTI /Hatch etc. shows ...

The trouble with this is the fact that the Leon is too big to do the Euro thing properly. You can't fit small wheels without looking stupid, so the effect is lost a little.

Plus, and this is the big thing for me, when you lower a Leon a lot (40+mm) the rear wheels look really far forward in the rear arches. The last picture on James TDI link above shows that... there is a massive gap between the wheel and the back of the rear arch. It looks odd. It's the same on all Leons lowered that much.

must just be the way the wheels stick out from the arch, because it looks fine from the picture of all the doors open, buti do see what your saying from the other pics

smallest you can g is 16's due to the brakes.

i say go 17's and wide...

maybe 9 at the back and 8.5" up front.

i agree think 17s with a deep dish and the car dropped would look mint.

I think the car is too big and, in particular, the arches are too big for a big drop on 17's. They would look lost IMO.
