Any Ibiza Diesel Cupra Upsolute remap concerns?

Hi,

Couple of questions to the veterans please :)

I live in Slovakia and haven recently purchased the Ibiza Cupra diesel which is an absolute hoot. I've previously owned the Leon Cupra.

Next week it goes in to Upsolute in Vienna to go from 160 to 208 bhp.

Anyone had any experience of this remap?

People keep asking me for some indication of performance, I can't find a lot on the basic car not to mention the chipped one, I've spent an hour on here not really finding anything specific.

Anyone point me in the right direction? I'm looking for something like:-

0-60 I think this is 7.3 standard?
0-100
1/4 mile
30-70
50-70
top speed

Both before and after the remap.

Much appreciated...

0-60 - 7 secs standard, 6.5 remapped
0-100 - 21 secs standard, 18ish remapped
1/4 mile low 15's standard, 14.5 remapped
30-70 - 5 secs remapped
50-70
top speed 136 standard, 140+ remapped

these may or may not be true,

Does this mean you dont agree? ;)

Thanks for the figures...

No-one had an Upsolute remap then?
well considering i only managed a 1/4 mile time of 14.6 with a very strong head wind, and a terminal speed of about 94mph, i would doubt that the figures sisson has quoted will be correct. just imho of course.

edit: just realised he wasn't quoting them for a pd130, but infact a cupra pd160 :) ooops

I've got an Upsolute remap on my Passat, which is a PD130 and weighs the same as a small house (with similar handling), so can't really give any comparison figures for a PD160 Ibiza, other than it's much quicker :)
It feels much better than the ABT remap I had on my Ibiza 130, seems to maintain power better at high revs.

The Upsolute dealer over here provides excellent customer service, and is going to do me a revised map to A) cure the clutch slip (affects most tuned TDIs sooner or later) and B) give more top-end power.

:banned: Yea its a Cupra 160 - I drive it the day after remap next week all the way to UK from Slovakia via German limit free Autobahns so should be fun.

Muddyboots - thanks for the info, I've heard good things about Upsolute from Austrian friends I have, my friends S3 ran superbly on one, and he said they are really helpful.

On the same topic ish...I've looked on google to try and find other cars 30-70. and other times to try and make some comparison. (I've no idea whether 5 seconds for example is quick) slap me I'm a newbie. Anyone know of a site with listings of examples?

Thanks for comments so far.

I took my Ibiza TDI Sport across Germany too, great fun, just look out for low flying pidgeons when doing 130mph :-o
