When tuning\mapping an engine, less money for more power than the bigger companies offer would be a red flag for me.

Plus looking at their website there is no contact details, address or phone number. They might be fine, but again that would make me wary

If you are still under warranty, I would look at Racechip. They appear to offer an engine warranty, which I have not seen any other Tuning Box company offer.

I must admit I have not used Racechip, only TMC Motorsport on an Abarth, but I have heard fairly decent things about them.

I use racechip on my 125 hp 1.4 petrol. Average 52 mpg. Kicks out 145hp. Easy fit too.

Had dtuk boxes on cars for over 6years now and never had a problem. This includes 2 Leon's, a 2.0diesel and current 1.8FR

Hearing good things about racechip on other vag forums but have no personal experience

@Shaady i thought the same hence why looking at Chipexpress or Dtuk :) you had any of them tuning boxes?

Nope I haven't had either of those, had previous cars remapped though and always gone Revo and never had any issues. May well be the way I go again once its out of warranty too.

Was there a noticeable difference on your 1.8FR after fitting the DTUK box?

Absolutely. An extra 65bhp and 73 torques (245 anda323) if you go with the quote figures but haven't had it rolled. Big difference though, pulls hard through the range in sport map.

If so seeing mpg has slightly increased too, I usually get about 5mog more than doing the same journey before the box

+1 for DTUK. Had one fitted to my 1.4 TSI 150 and it’s made a great difference. Normal preferred map is 2 (dynamic) and you can certainly feel a huge difference compared to standard. Still need to dyno and see how close to the claimed figures it is (claimed 185ps and 310nm torque) but either way it was money well spent. And the app control is handy too - saves having to open the bonnet to change settings.
