Hi anyone know a decent car painter near bishop auckland co durham, my car has been painted via bristol street in darlington two times on the front bumper, wings and bonnet, due to stone chips noticed when I bought the car. when I got the car back it looked boxfresh until I was told off a mechanic mate it didnt match! I then took it back to bristol street and had the paint blended in. just got car back and on way home the door mirror is loose, so I called dealer who told me to get it sorted and he will pay bill. Off I trot to local bodyshop when the guy walks out and says omg whats happened to ur car, pointing out the different shades of white, this has sent me over the edge as I bought the car two months ago and the dealer has had it a month due to lies and incompetence, DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE!!!!! So now I need a bodyshop to rectify my car and the dealer is prepared to pay the bill, even though he heuas paid 2k so far, now seat uk involved! Rant over, they truely pissed on my cornflakes now aaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrggghhhhh hhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!so good local body shop peeps cheers

Seat UK will tell you were the approved bodyshops are, i think possibly Jennings in Middlesbrough be nearest. Pulmans at Sunderland also have a Seat franchise

nice to know im not the only one hacked off about stone chips on the front of a car bought from Bristol Street Darlington

Shame about your car, hopefully you'll get it sorted properly soon.

Bristol Street are a nightmare. The Darlington branch you've been visiting also destroyed my drivers side door but patched it up, unfortunately I didn't discover it until about a month afterwards and by then it was too late. It needs a full respray of the door now, not impressed!

doesnt surprise me seems all dealers areas bad as each other round here by sounds of it
