hi, right im going to be buyin a set of ap coiovers in the next few weeks, once the funds arive basically, but i was wondering if i will need to change the antirol bars/droplink or anything else to avoid any knocking, ive read that it hits the driveshaft at low speed, does it have any side effects or jus plain annoying?

cheers for help....

thinkin ill be havin a decision on ap or vmax, a mate has his golf dropped on ap coilovers and he swears by them, so ill have a think.

do the vmax coiovers come with the droplinks?

as above was told i dont need shorter drop links with teh AP coilivers BUT if you order them with Awesome the drop links are £15 or something silly instead of £44

You dont need them, just as with Weitecs and KW as AP are made by the same company, the struts are the same design as their stablemates and the bracket is lifted up so the ROLL BAR doesnt rub the drive shaft.

there you go decision made, im not fussed on a harsh ride as i was saying about my mate with the golf, his doesn't seem to bad on the road n i was in it one day for a brave long run and didn't notice anything to bad, tbh no worse than my ibiza with the dodgy shocks thanks to the lowering springs. so i think ill put the saved money towards a nice new rear arb..... cheers for the help guys... good show
