Very happy with the final result although it was a p.i.t.a to do, not noticed much difference tbh just a little more lag, but havent gave it a proper run yet.

Nice work m8 :) good job in keeping the fogs. The reason for lag might be, your cooler is slightly to big and it takes a little longer to get up to pressure.

how did you know what piping to buy? was it one of those universal piping kits?

Yea it was this kit
http://www.toyosports.co.uk/25-turbo-intercooler-pipe-piping-diy-kit-64mm-blue-7299-1045-p.asp was only £59 when i bought it but they sent crap jubilee clips and rubber couplers so i bought decent ones separate, maybe they have upgraded the couplers and clips to suit the new price?
Not too sure if it will work for your auq engine as the inlet manifold is on the other side.

wayne, with the map pipe, if you bore out some ply wood the same id as the inner bore of the map pipe. do this twice. then place the ply at each end on the pipe. make sure the ply is a tight fit. then hit the pipe using a hammer, until it fits, the ply wood will keep the ends of the map pipe nice and round, then theres no need to cut the battery tray. do you think that would work ??? just an idea i had :D
