another hu question

hi im wanting to put another hu in my mk3 sdi ibiza and noticed that the two plugs in the back of the standard head unit would fit straigt into a aftermarket hu with some extending to reach new location if i did this would the heater/screen work if i left the other plugs in the standard hu not botherd bout screenbut could do with some heaters in this lovely british weather ps does anybody know of someone who can come out to me and relocate my hu im based in ashbourne derbyshire

Hey mate..
I'm not too sure myself, but you can have a look at OJ 89's readers ride, He has recently put in a new HU.. You could ask him how to do it mate..

hi thanks for the reply mate i had a go at it on sunday was easy enough i put it under the steering wheel wich aint as badder place as wot i thought it would be only took bout a hour anybody who is thinkin of doing it do it because a lot of people say its a bitch of a job but it isent really
