Another Armrest Question - Sorry!

IIRC the Golf arm rests require cutting of the centre console behind the handbrake to allow the bolts to pass through.

Basically you have to cut out the little storage tray that's just in front of the rear ashtray. The holes to bolt into are already present in the chassis as you'd expect ;)

i test drove a used Bora today with the armrest installed ... and I must say it was the most annoying thing in the car ... gets in the way when changing to the lower gears (2, 4) and the handbrake also ...

just a heads up ... see if you can sit in a car with one already ... maybe at VW used dealer?

Good idea, looks like i might be going test driving at the weekend! LOL!

not got round to fitting mine yet but they are brilliant!!! the golf i drive at work has one!! if you want to drive all sporty just simply lift it up!! then when your cruising(most of the time;) ) drop if down n hey presto dead comfy!!!
