You have to credit who ever thought lets put a low bumper on a car and then add a spliiter so it nearly touches the floor!!!! I cant even use the multi storey at work!

Any way a bit of wood on M25 = No LCR splitter!

Thank god there only £16!

Just think, if it weren't the splitter taking the brunt of the damage, it would be your bumper ;)

mine didn't come with, so i've bought one from the dealers.

can i buggery fit it though. just won't clip in :(

i'll get them to do it, next time i'm there :)

I had the same problem when I got a replacement one last year after my original splitter just dissappeared:confused:  .

No matter what I tried I just couldn't clip those 2 middle bits in at all, I got the rest of it in no probs, but those 2 pesky clips in the middle would not go in, I even put a load of grease on them but that didn't help!
In the end my LCR was going in for a service so I asked the dealer to do it which they did, no problem.

Problem now is I need another splitter as current one had a huge crack in it and was hanging down, so I had to rip it off. Just wondering if its worth bothering with another one, although I must admit it does look weird without one.

the easiest way to get the two centre bits in is to use the jack in the boot, do it gently and slowly and it pops them in no probs.

Nice one, will remember that if I decide to buy another splitter, which I no doubt will!!

Cheers Pal

I keep hitting it on low curbs it looks quite shabby now but for £16:D . I find with mine if you give it a good bang just where the clip is it goes back in.

multi storeys!!!...oh my god.
I have to go at a 45 degree angle down each slope to prevent the splitter scraping.
Gets quite a lot of looks from behind though when I do it, people think I am some kinda nutter going in every direction but straight. Hehe...

I don't go near multi-storeys these days - too much hassle!

you were lucky if you paid £16, as you can see the normal price is £19.96

EDIT: did you pay £16 every time assuming you have bought more than one?!
